2018 Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep vehicles all have a new security module that renders the OBD2 port inoperable for all aftermarket devices and tuners.

The Double Bypass kit overcomes this obstacle by installing a secondary OBD2 port in the trunk, bypassing the security module.
