MMX continues to support the Gen 3 HEMI community with the release of its performance dual pump fuel system for Jeep Trackhawk and Dodge Durango equipped with the Hellcat powerplant. This system utilizes twin Ti Automotive F90000285 500 LPH turbine pumps, the proprietary, dual venturi surge tank (see first image below), integrated accumulator and introduces a built-in adaptive feed siphon pump handling fuel crossover duties. Finally, a true bulkhead type electrical connector fully isolates internal and external electrical connections, making fuel leakage via "piping" up the wire's insulation impossible.
The system is completely plug & play, seamlessly integrated with all OEM fuel control systems. Simply remove the OE pump module and install the performance upgrade system, plug in the stock electrical connector and drive.
“But my Trackhawk already has a dual pump, why do I need this one?”
The Trackhawk comes equipped with a pair of Bosch 260 LPH pumps; it’s the same setup as in a Ford / Shelby GT500. This system provides a total of 520 LPH of potential fuel volume (search “28584462”) vs. 1000 LPH of the upgraded system. Experience demonstrates the stock system begins to lose pressure around 800 – 825 RWHP on gasoline; lower, of course, when pumping E 85. In testing, our system supports at least 1100 RWHP, but the upper limits have yet to be defined. Couple an almost 2x volume capacity with the advanced in-tank fuel management and the need becomes clear.
